2025 was an eventful year both in Tanzania, My Life and especially at the school. I put together a short video of review for just the school with no audio and it is included in this blog below. If you watched one on Facebook it is the same video. However I wanted to cover some items that were not directly related to Tumaini Evangelistic Pre & Primary School and expand on some items in the video.

Tumaini Evangelistic Pre & Primary School
In Tanzania for the Primary School grades there has been two major NECTA (Government standardized) tests, one in Standard 4 and then the Standard 7 Leaving (Exit) exam before they can go on to Secondary School. Also in Tanzania, I have mentioned before that the grading standard is 20% is considered passing. A Tanzanian B starts at a grade of 60 which is what our school considers to be the passing standard. This year both grades meet our standard of scoring higher than 60 meaning they got all A and B grades on their exams. That is why we celebrated that mark so much.
UPDATE: Just found out as I was finishing this blog up but the Standard 4 NECTA results from last October are in and we again got all A and B grades and placed 3 in the Simanjaro District.
We continued to provide 2 meals a day to our students and staff. Our sister school, Mauldin Methodist Preschool and Kindergarten, continues to help raise funds for those meals which is a big help. Our school continues with morning devotions and Friday Worship service to make sure our children get a strong Christian background and education. We added a Bible Competition to our Spelling Bee and Math Competition to encourage our students with their studies. We also had more sports competition this year to focus on sportsmanship and leadership. We also continued to have a Study Tour at a National Park for our students in Standard 3 and above.
This year we started the plans for a new office building, converting the old offices to a computer classroom and a group of water projects for both the school and the community. We are proud to announce we have had groups fund or promise funds to cover our water projects and those were completed while school was out over Christmas.
We are about 84% funded for our office project and still have matching funds available for the remainder needed. If you would like to contribute to the office project so we can match them please go to https://www.b2buministries.org/support/ to contribute via PayPal or mail a check to B2BU Ministries, Inc. PO Box 2016, Fremont, NC 27830.
We are also just over the 50% mark on the computer classroom project. Please consider helping us out to create the first computer classroom in a Primary school in our district.
Mwika Integrity

Between Devoted Ministries, Kingdom Builders of Element Church in St. Louis and Blessed2BlessU Ministries we were able to build a new bathroom facility for Mwika Integrity to replace the current facilities that had been deemed unsafe due to age and was going to force the school to close if not replaced.
Personal
Many of you remember, that I lost my mom this year after a battle with Parkinson’s and dementia. While we were saddened to lose her, we know that she is better off in Heaven and is surrounded by her parents and my brother, John. I really do appreciate all the love and care from my supporters, church family and my friends in Tanzania.
My Dad came over for his fourth trip to Tanzania to help with the Math Quiz and do more of a safari trip than we get on mission trips. It was a great time for me and him to travel together and enjoy each other’s company.
Many of you know that I struggle with my diabetes while in Tanzania due to the white starch factor in most of the foods available. That lead to a need for surgery on my left eye and injections in both eyes because I have not been able to keep my numbers down. Everything is ok, it was outpatient. But it did happen and my eyes dry out more now which I am worried will be a problem back in Tanzania. Prayers requested that it is not a problem.
