Top Students-End of Year and Std 7 Celebration Lunch

We have officially closed Tumaini Evangelistic Pre & Primary School for the school year of 2025. The last day is always a big day for the staff and students made even bigger by our desire to celebrate this year’s Standard 7 students doing so well on their exit exams. The last day of school is filled with recognition of top students, assigning homework for the break, speeches by teachers and staff to the students and of course Christmas gift distribution to students and staff. The Christmas gifts as always deserve their own blog so that will be my next one.

This is the assembly for the teacher and staff speeches. Yes there are two students sitting at the front. Those are the head prefects (student elected leaders) , Jackson and Zoe, who are supposed to take notes of what the teachers say. Eunice at the far left and standing is leading the assembly.

Yes the Tanzania assembly is just as thrilling as the ones I remember.

Some things you may have noticed. Our top two classes headed into next year have lost all the ladies from the top 3. The ladies are still holding their own overall but are not competing for those top spots this last year, so please pray for them to get back up there and challenge the boys. They reverted back to their no smiles picture mode which in the big setting we have to keep things moving so I can not spend as much time getting them to smile.

We did use our last day to celebrate Standard 7’s performance on the exit exams (everyone got a Tanzania A or B). We had 4 A’s and two of them showed up for the lunch. It was also split 2 girls and 2 boys. Nice, Clara, Baraka Enoch and Josephat all got A’s on the exit exam. For those wondering, we did include all the staff in the lunch but Blessed2BlessU Ministries also gave a financial bonus to all of our staff members for their work in getting those grades up to the standard we expect at Tumaini Evangelistic Pre & Primary School.
