It has been a busy time for me personally. The school closed up for the mid year break between semesters in early June and will reopen the second week of July. So I am finishing up my time off here after Mom’s funeral and will be heading back just before the school opens. So as the school closed up we did our normal things like financial records we do at the end of every month but also the school had end of semester testing session and I now have those testing records and photos of top students. In addition I also took a vacation which I will be featuring next week. But this week is all about those top students.

First a quick report to all our supporters about the progress of the students on their testing this year. I have been very happy with the continued progress of our standard students with their grades. Last year you may remember we had our first class with all students scoring higher than a 60 on their tests. 60 is our standard and not the Tanzania standard which is still 20. So to see progress and movement with each set of tests towards our goals is a huge deal for us and gives us hope for Tumaini (Hope) school. Now onto what you really want and that are pictures of the kids.
