Recently I have been working with a church in Kikatiti, Tanzania to hopefully get a permeant and real structure built on their property. Along the way we are also trying to help their budding sewing ministry to help the ladies in the congregation to earn money as well as help contribute to the future building. They have close to 20 women who want to be a part of this ministry and only one sewing machine. They have a small building started to house and secure the machines as well as to serve as a work area. That building only has footings and walls- no floors, no doors, no windows and no roof structure.
Blessed2BlessU Ministries, Inc. has stepped out in faith by providing the funds for four additional sewing machines for the ministry which were presented April 14, 2024. We have also set up a PayPal fundraising campaign if anyone would like to help this ministry along. We are hoping to raise $7000 for more sewing machines and to complete their building for the sewing ministry. If you would like to contribute via PayPal please click the button below.

You may notice Darline in the pictures as well. She is currently visiting Tanzania to research potential projects for her group Devoted Ministries out of St. Louis. They did the large canal project I talked about several years ago. Her friend, Rose, was the one who helped start the sewing ministry in Kiruani which now makes a majority of our school uniforms.
They also insisted on giving us a couple of chickens as gifts.

The picture above is their sewing ministry building partially constructed.

We did have some fun getting to and from the church which is along one of the major roads in the country because heavy rains flooded the area the night before I trip and actually tore up the walkway part of a bridge. The asphalt as it joined the bridge was also washed out turning a two lane bridge into a one lane bridge for the time being.

We also have a friend at our hotel again.
