Preschool Graduation 2023

Yes it is time for our preschool graduation ceremony again. The event was very much like last year’s a lot longer (3 hours) than a preschool student’s attention span. There at least was no speech about what they should study at college or what career they should hope for-they are just in preschool. The dance and singing segments were all there again. And I hope I got lots of great pictures and videos for you to enjoy. 32 students graduated to Primary school for next year!

The above video is so short because I was cut off by all the family members running to film the kids and doing so by standing right in front of me. I thought this may need some explaining to fully understand. In the USA at school events I see parents trying to film their kids even though the people who host the event normally do their own videography in hopes of selling it to the parents. They will look back normally and apologize as they cut through another person videoing the event’s line of sight. Not here, they never look back and never try to get out of your way. If you are videoing for the school they assume you must have a better position and will come stand right in front of you to get that view. As can be seen in the picture below.

I am not sure why some of our girls had to do a model walk at the ceremony but I can tell you the teachers previewed all the talent acts and decided that one merited time in the ceremony. I prefer the next one with a group of students singing.
