Bryton is the name drawn for this week’s blog. He is around 4 years old, healthy happy kid. He runs in the pack of young ones like Princess, Joan and Ebenzery who are difficult to get to sit down for more than a minute or two which is common at that age.
While it is difficult to get him to sit for any length, he is not a bad or misbehaving child. He just has not developed an attention span yet.

He has a lot of energy on the day so he goes full speed most of the time. His favorite piece of playground equipment is the bird’s nest with as many other kids as they can get on there.
The first dog I “adopted” as an adult was named Chrissie. She was intelligent and had a fun spirit. One of her favorite things was to wait until you were almost up to her and take off, turn around and tease you with a smile. When you tried to corral her the more fun she had running away from you.
I think of her every time I see the teachers try to corral Bryton into a seat or activity. He waits to the last minute and slips away then turns and smiles to tease them.

This is Bryton’s other gear. He only has the two right now.

He does like to draw with the crayons. Big wide strokes in his artwork. I see him looking at a canvas thoughtfully and trying to sling the paint across it just right as he bears down with his crayons.

The picture to the left is from when the student performed for their parents when the last team visited the site. As you can see we got all the other Baby Class students facing in one direction and Bryton is facing a different direction. (If you are having trouble he is second from right)

But it is his smile that makes Bryton such a good kid. He flashes it a lot because he seems to have fun at everything. Especially walking around the class during the middle of prayer time like he was doing in this photo.

What a cutie! I always loved the ornery boys with their contagious smiles…so full of life! Saw you were returning for few months…know you will be glad to see everyone! Grace and Peace , Phyllis
